Guangzhou Vocational School of Finance and Business is affiliated with the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau. It was formed through the integration of Guangzhou Finance Vocational School, Guangzhou Commerce Vocational School, and Guangzhou Judicial Vocational School. The school is a high-level secondary vocational school construction unit in Guangdong Province, a national model school for vocational education reform and development, and a national key secondary vocational school.

Established in 1960, the school currently has 690 staff members, including 546 full-time teachers, 4 senior lecturers, and 404 intermediate and senior lecturers, demonstrating a strong faculty. Strategically located in the core area of the Greater Bay Area, the school has five campuses: Overseas Chinese Village, Datansha, Helong, Longgui, and Xinshi, covering a total area of 593 acres with a construction area of 230,000 square meters. It enrolls over 11,000 full-time students. The school is equipped with advanced teaching facilities, including 290 professional training rooms and 7,500 training workstations.

Five programs—E-commerce, Accounting, Business English, Optometry and Eyewear, and Logistics Services and Management—have been recognized as Guangdong's "Double Precision" model programs.
