Our school held an online exchange meeting with Dongshin University in South Korea

On the afternoon of January 13, our school held a rich online meeting with Dongshin University in South Korea via video conference at the Datansha Campus. The purpose of this meeting was to strengthen educational cooperation between the two universities and to explore future collaboration opportunities in various areas, including the academic advancement of faculty and students, academic exchanges and training for teachers, and interactions between faculty and students. Our school's Party Secretary Chen Yanping, Director of the Office of Cooperation and Exchange Liang Zhenwen, Director of the Department of Optometry and Health Li Guoping, and Deputy Director Liu Yuling participated in the meeting, engaging in discussions with six representatives, including Wu Seongrok, Dean of the International Education Institute of Dongshin University.

During the meeting, Wu Seongrok introduced the educational philosophy, academic programs, and current state of international cooperation at Dongshin University. He expressed hope that this meeting would deepen mutual understanding and expand the depth and breadth of collaboration.

Chen Yanping, our school's Party Secretary, presented our school's unique characteristics and advantages in vocational education, as well as the achievements made in recent years in the process of internationalization, while emphasizing the importance of international work. She expressed a desire to provide more learning and development opportunities for faculty and students through close cooperation with Dongshin University.

Subsequently, both parties discussed various aspects such as the academic advancement of faculty and students, student exchanges (including exchange students, study tours, and mutual visits), online participation in international courses by faculty and students, and opportunities for teachers to lecture, train, or attend conferences in South Korea. There is hope that these collaborative projects will promote the sharing of educational resources between both sides, providing faculty and students with broader international perspectives and practical opportunities.

Moving forward, our school will continue to explore and advance cooperation with Dongshin University, constantly seeking to innovate international cooperation models, and enhancing the school's influence on the international education stage.
